A series of courses which respond to the changing conditions and light of the seasons.

Our courses are rigorous as well as enjoyable which puts your practice and learning in a contemporary context and referencecs current art practices. It also makes full use of the beautiful remote rural setting of Brooks.

We believe you can be serious and have fun. Indeed play and humour in art are fundamental. Marcel Duchamp, Josef Beuys, Louise Borgeois, Tracy Emin, Picasso, Richard Hamilton all invoke humour as a means of liberation and invention.

We are interested in your individual practice and want to see what your ideas are, where you are coming from and where you are going. We will be tough, we want ro radicalise you and shake you up. We are critical but we are celebratory. We love art, we love the process and we love the materials.
